About
Georgios Papadopoulos works as an economist and as a philosopher. His research gravitates around money and its socioeconomic functions. He holds a Master in Philosophy of the Social Sciences from the London School of Economics and he is pursuing his PhD in Philosophy and Economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He is a member the Circle for Lacanian Ideology Critique of the Jan Van Eyck Academy in Maastricht and is affiliated to the International Network for Economic Methodology. Currently he is coordinating a research project on the Greek Economy entitled Drachma; Speculations on Symbolic Value.
